About the Association
The Woodland Civic Association was founded in 1968 to connect residents of the Woodland section of Cherry Hill with local government and to improve our community.
Today, we continue to bring neighbors together to promote cleanliness, safety, and inclusivity throughout our neighborhood.
Board of Governors
The Woodland Civic Association’s Board of Governors meets on a monthly basis and is comprised of residents who are knowledgeable, involved, and engaged in town events and issues.

Community Improvements
Olive Street repaving scheduled for summer 2025
Actively communicating with the Township regarding abandoned properties and commercial property maintenance throughout our communities
Kenilworth Road repaving completed in 2023
Worked with the Township to create the Kenilworth Trail and Park Connector in 2017
Donated property located at 524 Beechwood Ave to the Township for a future fire department

Community Happenings
The Woodland Civic Association continues to work closely with Township leadership, law enforcement, businesses, and property owners to improve the quality of life throughout the Woodland neighborhood.
New Community Updates
Meetings with Township Leadership
Since the beginning of the year, Woodland Civic Association representatives have met twice with the Mayor and Township leadership team to discuss neighborhood concerns, including public safety, crime prevention, property maintenance, and unkept properties within the community.Enhanced Park Security
Working with the Cherry Hill Police Department, a mobile surveillance unit will be stationed at the park for a two-to-three-week period. The unit is designed to deter criminal activity, monitor the area, and assist law enforcement in identifying suspicious activity.Successful Neighborhood Block Party
The Woodland Civic Association proudly hosted its first community block party, bringing together more than 70 residents for an afternoon of fellowship, neighborhood engagement, and community building.ST Electric Complex Improvements
The ST Electric Complex recently installed a new perimeter fence that significantly enhances the appearance of the property and contributes positively to the overall appearance of the neighborhood.Completed Community Improvements
726 Northwood Avenue Development
The zoning application for 726 Northwood Avenue was approved, and plans are moving forward for the construction of new homes on the property.ShopRite Parking Lot Security System
After residents raised concerns regarding the volume of the ShopRite parking lot security system, the Woodland Civic Association engaged with store management. ShopRite responded and removed the security system from the parking lot.Baseball Diamond Trash & Recycling Station
The Township approved and installed an additional trash and recycling station near the baseball diamond, helping to keep the park cleaner and more accessible for residents and visitors.700 Olive Street Improvements
Planned improvements at 700 Olive Street have been completed, including securing the property and addressing safety concerns that had been raised by neighbors.Looking Ahead
The Woodland Civic Association remains committed to advocating for neighborhood improvements, strengthening community connections, and working collaboratively with Township officials, local businesses, and residents to address community concerns.
